I haven't purchased yet. Want to clarify things first:
Can it work in USA with US SIM?
Is the app available in US English?
Will the app work on Android phones?
Can watch track activity: step counter, pulse measurement, acceleration sensor?
Low power management: will device send notification to app when battery is low?

The Smart watch can work in USA with US SIM.
The app is available in US English, and it also can work on Android phones.
At present, it is not support step counter, pulse measurement, acceleration sensor, but the engineer said they will develop the functions in the future.
When the battery power is lower than 20%, it will send notice to your phone.

I have not purchased one yet but am seriously considering it. I just what to clarify a few things. Is the communication verbal it just messaging? Also, is there a charge on my iPhone to have this on my phone? Thanks in advance.

The communication is verbal.
There is no charge on your iphone, you need download an APP on your phone to  connect it with your phone. The download link will be offered on the package.
By the way, you need insert a phone card into the watch to make it have GPS signal.
