Does this meter measure the energy of the sun to determine the best place to put a solar light?

Could this be used to check reptiles uvb lighting?

Thanks for your question.
This does not distinguish parts of the solar spectrum (infrared, visible, uva, uvb, etc) so probably not.
You can use it to check the overall solar irradiation level as measured in Watts per Meter^2 (which is generally from 0 W/m2 to 1300 W/mw on ground level).
